The Cumberland County Board of Education appreciates the concern you have about education in Cumberland County and we want to thank you for taking the time to be here. At the beginning of each meeting, the Board Chairman asks for comments from the community.
You are given the opportunity to address the Board in this open forum. All issues brought before the board are taken seriously. We realize that speaking about something important can become very stressful. In order to make the process go smoothly, the BOE has adopted Policy 1.404 as a guideline for addressing the BOE. Complaints involving school personnel are addressed in Policy 6.305 and will not be heard by the board during the community comment forum.
